On Thursday, April 16th @ 12:39 PM - The Manorville FD was activated for a Brush Fire off of Schultz Road, North of North Street. Upon arrival, The fire was discovered to be a large brush fire that was spreading due to the wind. Flames where approximately 4 feet high. Manorville FD had all 4 GI Brush Trucks in the woods to extinguish the fire. Mutual aid was also provided by numerous surrounding fire departments. The fire approximately burned between 100 & 150 acres. Most of the Mutual aid departments where released at approximately 1730 hours. All Manorville units where cleared and back in service by 2000 hours.
