On Monday, May 27 @ 0532 Hours, Manorville FD was activated to respond to a report of a Motor Vehicle Accident on the Long Island Expressway in the west bound lanes between exits 70 and 69. Call was dispatched as 1 victim trapped. 5-16-32 was the first chief on scene, along with Suffolk Police. Rescue 5-16-1 and Engine 5-16-2 arrived and brought the tools out to perform the rescue. FD and PD where able to get the door opened without using the tools to extricate the patient. Manorville Ambulance transported the 1 patient. All units where cleared from the alarm @0557 Hours.
